    Favorite Class

My favorite class was Spanish for International Business. Because of growing interest in combining the two disciplines, the departments partnered together to build this class. We learned how to write a business plan that navigates cultural differences when operating in a different country.

    Fondest WC Memory

There are amazing memories scattered throughout the four years. Winning a conference championship as a part of the Men’s Rowing team in 2010 was a highlight. The friendships formed on that team are some of my closest to this day!

Let's Hear It for the Liberal Arts

Washington College’s focus on critical thinking and problem solving has helped me become a well-rounded business leader. Being able to think quickly and approach problems from different viewpoints has allowed me to enjoy success in various Corporate Finance, Marketing, and Sales roles at Stanley Black & Decker.

    Advice

Get involved, but don’t overextend yourself. Each club/organization at WC presents an excellent opportunity to practice your leadership skills. It is very easy to sign up for too much and spread yourself thin. Pick a few things you are passionate about and really focus on them… it will make your time at WC more meaningful!
