More Campus Organizations

At WC our Fraternity & Sorority community is built on four pillars: Scholarship, Service & Philanthropy, Social, and Leadership. WC’s fraternities and sororities host a number of charitable events and fundraisers throughout the semester—and they unite the campus, regardless of the sponsor. From 5k races to pasta dinners to male beauty pageants, Greek Life here is fun, and it happens while we serve the community and work towards the greater good.

The Student Events Board is a student-run organization, made up of over 20 students, who’s sole purpose is to plan awesome events for the students at WC. SEB is constantly working to have fun, innovative, and creative events to entertain a variety of students on campus. SEB strives to serve students all over campus and provide something to do for everyone, as you will see in our mission statement.

Washington College prides itself on being a writing intensive liberal arts institution. Not only are we home to the Sophie Kerr Prize, the largest undergraduate writing prize in the nation, but our talented student writers cultivate their skills as early as their freshman year by writing and running their own publications.
