Fitness And Recreation

Staying active is important for both your mental and physical health. Campus Recreation hosts several programs that promote an active and healthy lifestyle. While it’s much more fun to play and work out together, we’ve put together a series of beginner and intermediate workouts on the Campus Recreation YouTube channel to help everyone get through the COVID-19 lockdown. And when we are finally able to be together on campus again, we’ll see you on the fields and courts, and in the fitness and dance studios, of Washington College.

Johnson Fitness Center exterior

The Johnson Fitness Center, located on the south end of campus, is the hub of campus fitness and recreation. Here you’ll find a field house with four tennis courts, a 200-meter indoor track, three basketball courts, and a batting cage. Just outside the field house are racquetball and squash courts,  and locker rooms. This is the place where everyone can get their game on.
