The Career Center team helps students in a comprehensive way, beginning with self-assessment and career exploration. They guide students through strengths assessments and thoughtful reflection on their interests, then begin to help identify potential careers that might be good fits.

Working together, students and the Career Center identify externship and internship opportunities, then practice interviews and thoroughly prepare all aspects of applications to those opportunities. The Center for Career Development provides support, through both advice and funding, for many students who pursue internships that align with their interests and allow them to build on their depth of knowledge and experience.

Through holistic and dedicated support from the career center and others, Washington College students graduate with incredible résumés that make them strong candidates for the jobs or graduate programs in their field.
