Senior Gifts
The Senior Class Gift is a student-driven fundraising event that raises money among the senior class to support specific aspects of Washington College.
Through making their first gift this way, seniors begin the tradition of giving back to their soon-to-be alma mater and show how grateful they are for the organizations, clubs, academic programs, and athletic teams that have made a significant difference in their lives. Senior gifts help to ensure that future generations have the same experience.
Thank You for Supporting the Class of 2026 Senior Class Gift

Thank you for your generous support of the Class of 2026 Senior Class Gift. Your contribution creates a lasting tribute on campus through your personalized engraved brick while also helping provide scholarship opportunities for future Washington College students. Your gift is both a permanent part of our campus and a meaningful investment in the next generation of Shoremen and Shorewomen.
Over the next few weeks, a member of the Advancement team will contact you by email to confirm the personalization for your brick before it is ordered. Personalized bricks will be ordered in mid-August and are expected to be installed by the end of the year. There will be a ribbon cutting event during Spring Migration Weekend, April 16-17. Mark your calendar now and keep an eye out for your invitation.
Thank you again for leaving your mark on Washington College and for helping create opportunities for future generations of students through the Class of 2026 Scholarship Fund.
For questions about your brick, please reach out to Jenny Houghton, Director of Stewardship and The 1782 Society at 410-778-7805 or jhoughton2FREEwashcoll.
Previous Class Gifts

The Class of 2025
The Class of 2025 invited alumni to join them in their giving and raised more than $56,000. Donors to that campaign are recognized in the brick walkway between Middle Hall and the Green.

The Class of 2024
The Class of 2024 embraced their diversity and did not select a single cause. Organizers wrote, "The impact our class has had on the Washington College community has extended across academics, athletics, Greek Life, campus clubs, and more. So, it is difficult to choose a single initiative to donate towards as a class gift. Our gift will reflect our class's diverse interests and passions."

The Class of 2023
The Class of 2023 contributed to the effort to rebuild the terrace outside the Miller Library, an important and beloved space on campus. Their generosity helped make the terrace both more attractive and more accessible.
What will your class do? Check back for a message from this year's seniors later in the school year.

Any gift of $5 or more from seniors will be counted towards participation and a gift of $20.26 or more will garner a Washington College philanthropy cord to wear at commencement to celebrate your graduation year!
