Student Support

Washington College has a network of support systems in place to help our students thrive. Support looks different for everyone, and changes depending on needs. From advisors to tutors, counselors to mentors, there is no shortage of helping hands across campus.

Academics

The Office of Academic Skills, along with the Quantitative Skills Center, Writing Center, and Disability Services, form a collaborative partnership that helps students develop the knowledge, skills, values, and commitments necessary for academic success. Peer tutors, course mentors, writing consultants, and full-time staff are available to assist you with learning across the curriculum for one session, throughout your time at Washington, and anywhere in between.

Advisors

Our advisors work with you to ensure you’re taking the courses that will not only fulfill your requirements for distribution, but also help you toward your goals for after graduation. Your advisor will get to know you and your career goals, and help guide you toward the opportunities—both inside and outside the classroom—that will make those dreams a reality.
