Giving Days

Three times a year, the Washington College community comes together to support current students through 24- or 36-hour giving challenges that often include the opportunity to double your donation through matching funds, excitement on and off campus, and some friendly competition!

Give Back to WAC

Join the Washington College community in fulfilling Washington's Wishlist. With each donation matched dollar for dollar, watch what your gift can do when choosing from a variety of campus needs - from beakers to books and trips to tech. Your gift can take care of these necessities for your favorite professors, future fellow alumni, librarians, deans and more.

Goose on the Loose

December 2025

As the end of the semester and the end of the year draws close, watch for a fun and slightly silly campaign. Gus the Goose is Washington's beloved mascot, and at the end of the year, the College community celebrates our attachment to all things anserine.

The spring giving day is actually a day-and-a-half: 36 hours to support your favorite team (or teams) playing Washington's impactful Division III athletics. From Maryland institutions like lacrosse or sailing to sports as varied as soccer and trap and skeet, you can help your team win bragging rights (and often extra funds for training camps)!
