    Graduated U. of Ill. College of Law, 1976; in private practice, 1976-2016; received M.A. in Military History, Norwich University, 2014; currently write and teach military, diplomatic and political history.

    Watching Dr. An start with an empty blackboard and fill it completely, from the upper left hand corner to the lower right hand corner, in the course of a single class.  He did this for every single class.

    Let's Hear It for the Liberal Arts

    It taught me how to think analytically, it taught me the value of thorough research, and it taught me to be a good public speaker by being a good classroom speaker. That was a great help in the practice of law.
