The Associate Dean of Academic Success helps students solve problems that interfere with their academic progress. Working collaboratively with Academic Advising, Academic Resources (OAS, QSC, Writing Center) the Registrar, Student Affairs and other departments at the college, the Associate Dean oversees programs, support, and interventions that help students learn and grow.

Office of Academic Skills
The Office of Academic Skills offers tutoring in Natural Sciences & Social Sciences. They also run the Academic Recovery program.
Office of Advising & Academic Advocacy
Advising is a dynamic relationship between student and advisor, supporting the student towards their educational, career, and personal success. Advisors can provide guidance on policies, curriculum, and campus resources. Academic advocacy walks a step further with our students to help them resolve challenges that impact their success and persistence at Washington College.
Disability Services
Their mission is to ensure that all students, employees, and visitors have equal access to programs and services available at Washington College. Students may access accommodations at any time in their educational journey, for academic or housing related accommodations.
Quantitative Skills Center
The Quantitative Skills Center (QSC) helps students in any course that has a quantitative component. Students can receive help with Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Business, Economics, Chemistry, Psychology Statistics, and more.
The Writing Center
The Writing Center assists students with any stage of the writing process.
Academic Support
CARE | Academic and personal concern reporting system
The CARE system allows members of the Washington College community to instantly report concerns about a student's well-being. For instance, concerns about academic performance, mental and/or physical health, other concerns.
Committee on Academic Standing and Advising
The Committee on Academic Standing and Advising (CASA) considers all cases of academic standing within the student body and handles petitions for exempting individuals from academic policy.

The Office of Academic Success maintains a list of internal and external funding sources for students interested in enrichment opportunities.
