How to Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply and be admitted to Washington College as a degree-seeking student.
- Create an FSA ID. Both the student and one parent will need a FSA ID to complete the FAFSA application. The FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid's online system and can serve as your legal signature.
- Complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA becomes available on October 1 each year. Washington College school code is 002108.
The FAFSA information is used to determine whether you are eligible for federal grants, certain scholarships and work-study programs. A FAFSA application is required each year to determine your financial aid.
