   Fly-in Reimbursement Program

  • WC will reimburse the cost of half of your plane ticket up to $150.
  • If you choose to attend WC, we will reimburse the second half of your plane ticket up to $150.
  • If traveling alone, WC will offer free transportation to and from major airports and train stations in Washington College’s surrounding area for students residing outside of the Mid-Atlantic region. To request transportation to and from campus, please complete the transportation request form.
  • This program does not cover the cost of fuel, cars or anything with personal mileage, but WC will cover any public transportation such as planes, trains or commercial buses.

Information Sessions

Get the inside scoop on Washington College that you can’t get anywhere else. Get in-depth information on our programs, learn about alumni outcomes, and discover what a Washington College education looks like. (We’ll give you a spoiler: it’s definitely not one-size-fits-all.)  

Monday through Friday at 9:30 and 1:00 p.m. (50 minutes)


Meet up with one of our Admissions counselors for a one-on-one interview. Share your personal story and experience and get to know your guide to the Washington College admissions process.

Interviews are offered only to current seniors, juniors, home schooled students, and transfer students. Interviews are highly recommended for all visiting seniors. Interviews with an admissions counselor are available at the following times:

Monday through Friday at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00 (30 minutes)

Campus Tour

Take a walking tour of campus that covers our dorms, academic buildings, and dining hall.  
Get a feel for the WC student experience with one of our George’s Generals. Bring your burning questions and comfy shoes! 

Offered daily, campus tours are available at the following times:

Monday through Friday at 10:30, 11:30, 2:00, 3:00 (45 minutes)

Chestertown Tour

Head downtown to Chestertown and scope out your future hangouts, learn the history of place we call home, and see how everyone works to make Chestertown your home away from home.

Join us on land for an informal reception with current students, alumni, and staff. Hear about Washington College from the people who know it best, speak with Admissions staff about next steps in the college admissions process, and find out about the incredible research, internship, and learning opportunities that the Center for Environment and Society provides from CES Director John Seidel.

End the evening sailing the Inner Harbor on the Callinectes, the centerpiece of the Washington College research fleet and learn about how research done at CES connects the College to the people and environments of the Chesapeake Bay. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to see how the Signature Centers at Washington College provide an unparalleled college experience.
