   Fly-in Reimbursement Program

  • WC will reimburse the cost of half of your plane ticket up to $150.
  • If you choose to attend WC, we will reimburse the second half of your plane ticket up to $150.
  • If traveling alone, WC will offer free transportation to and from major airports and train stations in Washington College’s surrounding area for students residing outside of the Mid-Atlantic region. To request transportation to and from campus, please complete the transportation request form.
  • This program does not cover the cost of fuel, cars or anything with personal mileage, but WC will cover any public transportation such as planes, trains or commercial buses.

Way more than a tour – it’s YOUR day! Visit campus and meet up with staff, students, and professors for a comprehensive overview of Washington College.

At Washington College, we know there’s nobody else in the world who’s quite like you. That’s why we tailor our tours for visitors as much as we tailor our education for students. Whether it’s your first or your fifth trip to campus, and whether you’re interested in athletics programs or antique letterpresses, we’ll help you plan a visit that’s just your style.

Design your visit online or schedule via phone at 410-778-7700. Weekday visitors have the following options:

Campus Tour

(1 hour) 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm, 3 pm
Get a feel for the WC student experience with one of our George’s Generals. Take a walking tour of campus that covers our dorms, academic buildings, and dining hall.

Information Session

(45 minutes) 9:30 am, 1 pm
Get in-depth information on our programs, learn about alumni outcomes, and discover what a Washington College education looks like.

Counselor Interview

(30 minutes) 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm, 2:30 pm, 3 pm
Share your personal story and experience with one of our Admissions counselors during a one-on-one interview. Get to know your guide to the Washington College admissions process.

Student Lunch

(1 hour) 12:30-1:30 pm
Meet up with a student host from our George’s Generals, get your questions about college answered, and enjoy lunch in the Dining Hall on us!

Chestertown Tour

(75 minutes) 2 pm
Head to downtown Chestertown to scope out your future hangouts and learn the history of the place we call home.

Class Shadowing

Times will vary. Available to seniors and transfers only.
You will be paired up with a student mentor and follow them to class for an inside look at the WC experience.

Special Visit

Times will vary. Available to seniors and transfers only.
Sit down for a one-on-one with campus offices to discuss the ins and outs of what they do and the services and educational opportunities they provide.
