Smith Bio

Miki has served on the WC-ALL Council as a Council-elected replacement to fulfill a resigned Council member’s term ending May 2020. Miki was elected to a full 3-year term on the Council in May, 2020.  Miki lives in Worton, enjoys spinning and weaving, and volunteers at RiverArts, the Chester River Hospital, and Homeports. Miki was trained as a nurse and worked in New York. After raising her family, she began a second career as a librarian, with an MLS in Library Science and an MA in Art History. She served as Art Librarian at Rutgers University, and was Editor of the Journal of Art Libraries Society of North America. She and her husband Doug are very active in WC-ALL programs.
