The Quantitative Skills Center hires new tutors every April for the following academic year. Tutors assist Washington College students with the quantitative components of their courses and in the daily operation of the Quantitative Skills Center.

About the position

  • Tutor students with the quantitative component of their courses and assist in the daily operation of the Quantitative Skills Center.
  • Work with the QSC Director, faculty, and other tutors to provide students with the best possible support.
  • Work at least 5 hours per week
  • Renewable every semester
Can I apply to be a tutor if I'm a first-year student?
First-year students are encouraged to apply in April when the Quantitative Skills Center recruits new tutors for the Fall semester.
How many hours a week would I work as a tutor?
Tutors should be avaliable to work a minimum of 5 hours a week.
