Washington College Announces Tuition Commitment for Maryland Families

New initiative guarantees full tuition coverage for eligible Maryland students from families earning $75,000 or less

Washington College today announced the Washington College Tuition Commitment, a new initiative designed to make a high-quality college education more affordable and accessible for Maryland students. 

Under the Washington College Tuition Commitment, eligible Maryland residents from families with a total household income of $75,000 or less will have their full tuition covered through scholarships and financial aid each academic year they are enrolled at Washington College. The Washington College Tuition Commitment is designed to provide Maryland families with greater certainty about the cost of a college education. 

The new initiative builds on Washington College’s longstanding commitment to affordability. Currently, 100% of full-time, first-year students receive some form of scholarship and/or financial aid. 

The Washington College Tuition Commitment provides eligible students access to the College’s academic programs, personalized experiential learning opportunities, internships, research, close faculty mentorship and supportive campus community while significantly reducing one of the biggest concerns facing families considering college: affordability.
