08/03/2023

The WC Institute for Religion, Politics, and Culture is directed by Prof. Joseph Prud'homme in Political Science (who is an Affiliated Faculty in Religion). The Institute sponsors multiple summer study-abroad opportunities. One study-abroad seminar involves students taking a seminar on a theme in religion, philosophy, and politics taught by Oxford faculty over ten days at Oxford University in England, at the end of June and early July. Philosophy majors and religion minors attend almost every seminar and receive credit in their philosophy major or religion minor. A second program run through Charles University in Prague and features Prof. Prud'homme teaching a seminar on themes in religion and culture, normally running around the beginning of August. Contact Prof. Prud'homme for details. * Note, each seminar runs when conditions permit, which may not be every year.
