Andrew Kaiser

Andrew T. Kaiser is the MEIF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Chair and Associate Professor at Washington College. He is the founder and former President of The Kaizen Company (Kaizen), a global international development consultancy. Over two decades, he grew Kaizen from a one-person start-up into a 250 person firm with operations in 25+ countries, culminating in its acquisition by Tetra Tech in 2021. His work piloting innovations and advising leaders in government, civil society, and business—from post-earthquake Haiti to reform efforts in the Middle East—has earned multiple honors from Fast Company, USAID, and the Inc. 5000. He speaks English, Spanish, and German, and holds an MBA and BA from the University of South Carolina.
