Apprentices
Admitted applicants who have expressed interest in studying biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental studies, mathematics, physics or psychology may be invited to apply for an apprenticeship in the John Toll Fellows Program.
Two-Year Apprenticeships
During the first two years of your apprenticeship, you will be invited to special events in the sciences such as small group discussions with faculty and invited speakers, tours of academic research facilities in federal laboratories and the National Institutes of Health, as well as other special events planned specifically for you. Apprentices are encouraged to assist faculty and senior John Toll Fellows who are working on projects in the lab.
