In Honor of Joe

Shhh... Please keep this campaign a secret — we want to surprise Joe with this honor. 

For the past thirty years, Joseph L. Holt '83 M'98 has faithfully served the mission of Washington College. During his 30 years of service to his alma mater, he has filled every role imaginable, always ready to answer the call, accomplishing his duties with unmatched excellence and distinction. With the news of Joe's intention to retire this June, we are honoring Joe with a faculty chair in the Business Management Department. 

Thanks to the support of the JHC Foundation with their $5 million challenge gift to the Business Management Department, the money we raise for Joe will be matched by the JHC Foundation to meet the $2 million naming threshold for a faculty chair. Joe has been a constant advocate for the College’s endowment, which makes this challenge and establishing The Joseph L. Holt Chair in Strategic Management a fitting tribute!
