The Washington Way

What distinguishes life at Washington College from other campuses?

The Washington way means sitting with your professor for more than an hour in one-on-one conversations about your thesis—and about life. It means knowing every single one of the 12 people in your chemistry class, and easily finding a study partner.

Only at Washington College are students lucky enough to use the Chester River as a study lounge. When it's time for a break, you can feed the ducks or go kayaking with your friends.

Then we're off to enjoy a refreshing Alaskan while eating lunch at Play it Again Sam, or a milk shake from The Freeze. Before you know it, it's time to sit on the hill outside Kirby Stadium to watch the Shoremen thrash Salisbury in the annual War on the Shore. Gus is sure to be there.
