Burgess in 1986March 2, 1973:  British author Anthony Burgess (A Clockwork Orange) visited Washington College, teaching English classes and giving a talk at 4:00 pm in Hynson Lounge.  Just 11 days later, he visited City College of New York, where he gave a lecture on Christopher Marlowe’s death, excerpted here:    Anthony Burgess on the Death of Christopher Marlowe, 3/13/73  

Procolino’s Pizza...And 40 years ago this week, in March 1983, Procolino’s was already serving “The Best Pizza in Town”, charging just $5 for a 16” pie.
