IDEAWORKS Innovation Center

IDEAWORKS is an open-access suite of creative production and experimentation facilities.  We offer curricular and co-curricular programming to the campus, with the support of students and full-time staff.  Contact Brian Palmer for more information.  IDEAWORKS is comprised of the following three spaces:

[IDEAWORKS] Multimedia Production Center

The Multimedia Production Center (MPC),  in the front half of the suite, supports your academic and personal multimedia projects.  The space is equipped with Mac computers running the Adobe CC suite and several other multimedia applications.  Our Loaner Pool offers free access to video camcorders, DSLR cameras, audio recorders, and more.

[IDEAWORKS] Makerspace

The IDEAWORKS Makerspace extends the digital creative capabilities of the MPC by allowing users to design and fabricate items using modern digital tools, as well as traditional fabrication methods.  Embracing the power of maker culture, the Makerspace provides access to training and tools such as 3D Printers, laser cutting and etching, electronics prototyping, sewing, traditional fabrication tools, and more.

[IDEAWORKS] One Button Studio

Our One Button Studio is a compact but versatile acoustically treated 9’x9’ production space.  Individuals and small groups may use this space for personal and class projects that include recording voiceover narration, studio quality video, and more.
