Men’s Lacrosse

The Washington College Men’s Lacrosse team enjoyed one of its most successful seasons under third-year Head Coach Jeff Shirk, going 12-4, receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The season started with an eight-game winning streak, the team climbing the national rankings all the way to number four in the country. The Shoremen were led by Senior All-American, Bennett Cord’s 59 points, giving him 152 points for his career. Junior Ted DiSalvo was solid in goal all season in his first year as a starter. Returning starting face-off man, Mike Trapp, won 66% of his attempts and one of the top 15 at his position in the country, statistically. The Shoremen also saw a number of newcomers contribute, including freshmen Midfielders Sid Looney and David McBrien, as well as Attackman Casey Kermes.
