The Archives & Special Collections acquires and preserves the history of Washington College as well as special collections which include rare books, manuscripts and ephemera related to Washington College, Chestertown and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The Archives is the repository of the official records of administrators and departments of the college and contains materials covering the academic, athletics, arts, biographical, political, spiritual, and related activities donated by faculty, staff, students, alumnae and community members. It is the permanent repository for all historically significant materials.
