Kent Crossing

Washington College has leased out several apartments from Kent Crossing for students. These apartments are open to rising juniors and seniors only.

Our Kent Crossing apartments are considered “on-campus housing” while being located off WC property. They allow you to experience a stepping stone to independent living. WC’s Kent Crossing apartments have RAs and provide the same amenities as on-campus housing (utilities, cable and internet) along with some basic housekeeping.

Each unit in Kent Crossing has two bedrooms and is set up to house three or four students comfortably.

Requirements to be eligible for Kent Crossing housing:

  • Rising juniors & seniors must have at least a 2.5 GPA
  • Rising Sophomores must have a 3.0 GPA
  • No major judicial background or current probation
Standard 4 person apartment comes fully equipped with:

Full kitchen, including:

  • Refrigerator
  • Dishwasher
  • Oven
  • Stove
  • Microwave
  • Cabinets
  • Breakfast bar
  • Washer
  • Dryer 

Two bedrooms, including:

  • Closets
  • Two beds per room
  • Two desks per room
  • Two dressers per room
  • One complete, private bathroom per room

Living/dining room area, including:

  • Couches
  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Balcony/patio area

3 Person apartments have the same as above except one single and one double room instead of 2 double rooms - along with appropriate furnishings.
