Living on campus is an important part of the Washington College experience, giving you the opportunity to meet new people, experience new ideas and develop important study habits and life skills.
All first and second year students are required to live on campus. Junior and senior students in good social and academic standing may appeal to live off-campus, although the majority of our students choose to live on-campus for their entire academic career. About 85% of all undergraduate students live on-campus, helping to make our community both engaging and diverse.
For 2017-2018, first year students are assigned to Queen Anne, Caroline, Kent, Minta Martin and some in Reid.
Minta Martin will house some of the Presidential Fellows program. This program is larger than any hall on campus. About a quarter of the Presidential Fellows will be housed in other halls.
Queen Anne is home to a Wellness Community for students who enjoy focusing on positive lifestyle choices in health, social activities, and relationships.
Kent is home to a first year STEM community. Students interested in STEM majors are able to choose this option.
For new students, applying for on-campus housing is easy!
- Log on to WebAdvisor. Under the Residential Life Options, click on “Housing and Meals Application and Information.” You will use your college issued username and current password to enter. You will find your application under “Applications.”
- Have your parent/guardian complete the parent/guardian form on WebAdvisor or enter the information on the housing website under Personal Information, Emergency Addresses and Contacts. Everyone must fill this information out.
