Ready for the end of another year at WAC?
Here is what you need to know before you leave:
All students must vacate their rooms within 24 hours of their last final or by noon, Saturday, May 10, whichever comes first.
Graduating Seniors must vacate their rooms by 7pm on Saturday, May 17.
All non-graduating students must sign up with their RA for a check-out time at least 24-hours prior to when they leave.
Checking out with your RA is the last step before you leave - the RA will review the condition (and cleanliness) of your room and collect your key. The room will be re-assessed later by professional staff and damage/cleaning charges may be assigned where appropriate.
Failure to clean your room (we say “broom clean”) or return furniture to the proper set-up will result in a charge.
Any students staying late must be on our approved “Late Departure” list. This is reserved for in-season athletes whose season is continuing beyond finals week and a few students involved in official college jobs or functions that require their continued presence on campus.
If you believe you have a hardship requiring special approval for late departure, you may email email@example.com. May 2 is the deadline for requesting late departure and not all requests can be approved.
Please make the necessary plans to depart on the correct day - convenience is not an approved reason to stay beyond your departure deadline.
