Information for Delegates

PLEASE NOTE: The Registration areas will not have facilities to store valuable items (cell phones, computers, cameras, bags, etc.) nor personnel to monitor them. Delegates are advised to store valuables in the trunks of their cars.


Delegates may park in any parking lot, but are recommended to park in lot “B”, which is closest to the registration and check-in location.

Delegate Registration/Check-in

(bottled water and juices; coffee and tea; nuts pretzels, granola bars; hand-held fruit)

8:30 AM-10:00 AM: The Egg, Hodson Hall Commons

Delegate Line-up for Academic Procession

(Line up determined by the founding date or charter date of the institution.)

10:00 AM: The GooseNest, Hodson Hall Commons

Academic Procession & Inauguration

10:30 AM: Procession

Delegates will process out of the Hodson Hall Commons alongside the Washington College Faculty, being led by the Emeritus Faculty and The Chesapeake Caledonian Pipes and Drums. The line will process down the Cater Walk and Inauguration will take place under a tent on Martha Washington Square.

Post Inauguration Luncheon

Delegates and their guests are invited to a Post-Inauguration Buffet Luncheon in Hodson Commons and the surrounding Hodson Green.

College Thank You Gift to Delegates

Before leaving Campus, Delegates may pick up, in the Registration/Check-in area, a thank you gift from President Landgraf.
