New Full-Time Faculty Members,

Welcome to Washington College! On this page you will find answers to some FAQ’s and advance notice on important dates ahead:


Q. Once I have completed the background check, received a contract, and signed and returned the contract to the College, what do I do now?


A. You will need to complete the “pay pack”, and return it to Human Resources. Completion of the pay pack includes appearing in person in HR, to complete the I-9 form.  Please call (410) 778-7298, to schedule an appointment.


Q. When will I have access to Washington College email/Canvas/parking permits/keys/College ID Card?


A. After your new hire paperwork is completed, and entered into the system, you should wait 24-48 hours before contacting the HelpDesk, at (410) 778-7777, for your email username and password.  You may use the same timeline before visiting Public Safety for your parking permit, keys, and College ID card.

Q.  How do I request a computer?


A.  Please contact John Anderson, at the HelpDesk (helpdesk@washcoll.edu, 410-778-7777), with hardware requests.
