The College Student Health Services provides care for full-time students  during the regular academic year. During the summer, we are open for administrative purposes with limited clinical availability.

The Basics

All students are required to complete a health questionnaire, have a physical exam, and meet immunization requirements before their enrollment at Washington College. Physical exams must be completed within the 6 month period prior to the due date. Required immunizations are listed on the Health Form. 

Stories & Events
  • To raise awareness about substance abuse and the resources available to help individuals and families struggling with addiction, Washington College is “going purple” as a sign of solidarity with the Kent County initiative.
  • WC students and staff marked National Suicide Prevention Week with a candlelight vigil, resources, information, support, and enthusiasm for students’ efforts to form a College chapter of the national group Active Minds.
  • On March1, 2017, Governor Hogan declared a state of emergency in response to the heroin, opioid and Fentanyl crisis ravaging our communities in Maryland and across the country.
