Fall 2017 Canvas Workshops

 

Educational Technology will be offering two Canvas workshops at the beginning of the Fall Semester.  Getting Started with Canvas is for faculty and staff who are new to using Canvas or would like to become re-acquainted with Canvas.  Canvas Tips, Tricks & New Features will showcase some tips and tricks for making working with Canvas even easier and introduce some of the newest Canvas features.

Getting Started With Canvas

 

This workshop is for faculty and staff who are new to using Canvas or would like to become re-acquainted with Canvas.

The training session will take place in Beck in the lower level of Miller Library. The workshop will last approximately one hour. Participants are welcome to stay for a hands-on session immediately following the workshop to work on their Canvas courses with the help of technologists.

This workshop is offered on the following dates:

Tuesday, August 29 | 2:30 PM-3:30 PM

Wednesday, August 30 | 2:30 PM-3:30 PM

Canvas Tips, Tricks and New Features  

Come check out some of the new features now available in Canvas, including updates to the new Turnitin LTI tool, the new Canvas Document Viewer and hear some tips and tricks that make working with Canvas even easier and more enjoyable.

The training session will take place in Beck in the lower level of Miller Library. The workshop will last approximately one hour.
