Echo Hill Outdoor School, a leader in the field of outdoor education, offers unique experiences for professional organizations. Opportunities exist for team building, leadership development, and meeting enhancements through our adventure program.
Professionals find enrichment in leaving their day-to-day routine and engaging in the dynamic, interactive, and meaningful experiences led by our team of skilled facilitators. Bring your group out to our extensive challenge course or have our facilitators come to you.
The Challenge Course
Nestled beneath the forested canopy and bordering a wetland nature preserve, Echo Hill’s adventure challenge course consists of over twenty individual and group initiatives that provide opportunities for personal and group development. Echo Hill Outdoor School is home to a 50-foot Alpine Climbing Tower, a Canopy Zipline and much, much more.
The Program
We custom design adventure programs based on a formal needs assessment and your organization’s specific goals. Using the philosophy of challenge by choice, participants are encouraged to seek growth experiences. Some program examples include:
Full Day Adventure Course Experience
After spending your first day at Washington College setting organizational goals guests travel a short distance to Echo Hill Outdoor School’s picturesque campus on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay for a second day of team challenges.

Half Day Team Building Experience
Participants can maximize their time by having a working breakfast meeting at the College followed by an afternoon focusing on interactive group dynamics at Echo Hill Outdoor School.
