Melia is a lover of culture, food, and the environment.

While in school she’s developed a great interest in languages, cultures, and ecology. She loves to experience new things and finds herself busy with German Club, Student Environmental Alliance, Campus Garden Program, Food Waste Recovery Network, and rugby. She takes great interest in understanding how food shapes culture, and enjoys exploring the connections between people, food, and the importance of knowing where things come from.
