Welcome! I’m so happy that you’re considering Washington College in your college search.
Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I can speak to all the benefits of a small but supportive community. Housing approximately 1,450 students and located in historic Chestertown, this 120 acre, waterfront campus is home to bright and inquisitive students who are determined to explore all of their interests without limitations.
As a psychology and studio art double major, I was able to weave two seemingly unrelated fields into a major of its own! The one on one help of all my professors taught me to think critically in a liberal arts setting, allowing me to pursue my passions and reach my highest potential. Washington College, with its average class sizes of 17 and 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio, is a surefire way for students to acquire unparalleled knowledge and authentic experiences that will follow them throughout their professional career.
With a wide variety of student clubs and organizations, students are able to find the activities that best suit their interests and foster connections with the greater Chestertown community.
As an Eastern Shore native, I have a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty and hidden gems of the area, taking full advantage of all the great outdoor activities. I love to travel and meet people from other cultures, and credit that to my invaluable study abroad experience in Copenhagen, Denmark! In addition to Virginia and Western PA, I will be working with transfer and international students. Finding the right fit can be a difficult task, but I will go above and beyond to help you in your college search.
If you would like to set up a visit to our beautiful, historic campus or have any questions please feel free to call or send me an email. I wish you the best of luck in your college search and I hope to hear from you soon!
