Josh Young

Class of 2000
Major/Minor: History

Josh Young graduated from Washington College, with a B.A. in History, in 2000.  While in Chestertown, he was involved in various campus activities – including the Men’s Rugby Club and the Young Republicans Club.  As an undergraduate, Josh also spent a semester studying at American University in Washington, DC as part their Washington Semester Program, where he interned with the Supreme Court of the United States.

Since 2009, Josh has served as the Director of Research and Prospect Management at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis, MD.  Previously, he worked in development operations at the Johns Hopkins Institutions in Baltimore, MD from 2001 to 2009.  Prior to that, he was a staff member in the Advancement Office at Washington College.  He earned his M.P.A., concentrated in environmental policy/policy and management, from American University’s School of Public Affairs in 2013.
