Katherine Thornton

Campus Involvement

Kathy is an Environmental Studies and History major with a Biology minor and a Chesapeake Regional Studies concentration. She is co-president of the Student Environmental Alliance. She also works for College Relations as a Photographer and Web-editor, the Center for Environment and Society as an intern, and is a C.V. Starr Center Student Associate. In 2010, Kathy participated in the Chesapeake Semester.

Kathy is president of the Cater Society of Junior Fellows, a John. S. Toll Science and Mathematics Fellow, a Comegys Bight Fellow, and a Frederick Douglass Fellow. After graduation, she plans to pursue work with and/or continue study in environmental history or aquatic ecology.
