Campus Involvement

Dylan was Social Chair for Phi Delta Theta, served on the Judicial Board, and was an Interfraternity Council Representative. He was founder and president of the Mixed Martial Arts Club and a member of Boatbuilding Club, Psychology Club, and Enactus. Dylan was the manager for the Club Lacrosse team and played Goalie on the Club Field Hockey Team. In 2011 and 2012, he competed in Big Man on Campus and served on the Relay for Life Advertising Committee in 2010-2011. He also volunteered for the Phi Delta Theta Crab Feast and served on the Entertainment Committee.

Dylan was a member of the Cater Society of Junior Fellows, Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, and the Washington College Council of Presidents in 2010-2011. He made the Dean’s List in 2009, 2010, Fall of 2011, 2012, and 2013. He has his 100 Ton Inland Master Captain’s License as well as his Maryland Life and Health Insurance Producer Licenses. Dylan received the Maryland Senatorial Scholarship for 2009-2013. He published FEMA Floodplain Alteration of Talbot County by the Washington College GIS Lab and is NIH certified for ‘Protecting Human Research Participants’.

Following graduation, Dylan will spend the summer and fall working as a charter captain on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. When it gets too cold and the season comes to an end, he will continue to pursue his education by working toward his Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In the years that follow, he will continue to return to the charter business during the summer months. His main career objective is to own a charter business that he can take south during the winter.
