Aubrey Hastings

Campus Involvement

Aubrey Hastings has been an active member of Campus Christian Fellowship and the Dance Company for four years and has served as the Nu Delta Alpha Dance Honor Society President for two years. In the spring of 2011 she travelled to Columbus, GA to build a house with WC Habitat for Humanity and served as a Legislative Intern for Sen. Robert Garagiola for the 2012 Maryland General Assembly Session. Aubrey has worked as the Student Life Editor of The Elm since 2010 and served as an intern for the Chestertown Spy. She has also been inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha โ€“ the National Political Science Honor Society โ€“ and Omicron Delta Kappa โ€“ the National Leadership Honor Society.

After graduation, Aubrey will be working for Teach for America. She has been placed in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas region and will be a middle school English teacher. While teaching, Aubrey will also enter graduate school at the University of Texas, Brownsville for a masters degree in English Education.
