Marian Robbins

Major/Minor: Major: Anthropology; Minors: Mathematics, English

After graduation, Marian immediately attended Western Kentucky University where she earned her MA in Folk Studies with a focus in Public Folklore. While attending, her graduate assistantship was in the education department of the museum of campus where she figured out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. After graduation, again, she became the Project Coordinator and Staff Folklorist for the Chesapeake Bay Folk Festival at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for the summer of 2010. Since then, she has been working at a couple museums in Baltimore where she is gaining experience toward her goal of becoming the Director of Education at a museum.
