Paul Franklin

Major/Minor: Business Management major, Political Science minor

Paul I. Franklin is a third-generation independent agent with New York Life, the largest mutual insurer in the United States. Paul specializes in the protection, accumulation, and distribution of wealth to individuals, families, and small businesses.

Prior to joining New York Life, Paul served as a Campaign Associate at The Potomac School in McLean, VA where he supported the school’s $50 million Campaign for Potomac’s Future.

In addition to running a financial services business, Paul is an active coach (The Potomac School 2006-2011, McLean Mustangs Football 2009-2011, Maret School 2012-Current). He also serves as Vice President on the Alumni Board for George Mason University’s School of Public Policy, as well as a Director of APIC and VA Advocacy on The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Greater Washington Chapter.

Paul has received numerous awards and distinctions in his short time with New York Life. He was awarded with the Career Life Success Award, and qualified for New York Life’s prestigious Presidents Council in his first nine months. For the second consecutive year, Paul qualified for The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). In addition, Paul is an Annuity Producing Leader, Long Term Care Circle of Champions Leader, and a current 2012 President’s Council member. 

Paul holds a M.P.P. in Public Policy from the George Mason University and a B.A. in Business Management from Washington College. Paul is based out of New York Life’s Northern Virginia office, and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
