Jackie Gitlin

Major/Minor: History

Jackie is a history major and secondary education minor and is also the co-president and co-founder of Washington College’s Historical Society. She is originally from Damascus, Maryland. In the summer of 2013, she served as a Comegys Bight Fellow at the Historian’s Office of the United States House of Representatives as a research intern. She is a Goodfellow scholar who did research for her thesis on the British Mandate for Palestine at the Imperial War Museum in London, England. Jackie plans to go to graduate school and become a high school history teacher after graduation.
