What do you do for a campus job or work study?
I am an office assistant in Campus Events and a tutor in the Qualitative Skills Center, as well as being a Peer Mentor.

Have you had any internship, research or study abroad experiences?
I interned with the U.S. Census Bureau during the summer of 2012, and I have volunteered as an assistant in Dr. Kehm’s research lab during the spring of 2013. Two totally different experiences that have given me great insight into potential career fields.

What should every student do before they graduate?
Pass your swim test at the pool!! This gives you access to using the kayaks at the boathouse and exploring the wonderful Chester River.

What’s it like living in Chestertown?
Chestertown is great! As a student who has had the opportunity to live in C-town over the summer, I can say it’s one of the friendliest, quirkiest, and most laid back places. It’s easy to overlook all of the town’s potential, so make sure you take advantage of all it has to offer. The waterfront, local businesses, the Prince Theater, the farmers’ market, and all of the delicious dining opportunities!
