Laura Kennedy ’12 was an International Studies Major. She lives an hour south east of Pittsburgh, PA in a small town called Ligonier.
It was in her Spanish class in high school that she discovered a love for the Spanish language and culture. On campus, Laura was the founder and president of the Washington College Chapter of Students Helping Honduras; an organization dedicated to helping impoverished and vulnerable children in Honduras.
Laura was also an active member of Campus Christian Fellowship, the Chess Club, the International Relations Club and lettered in soccer her freshman year.
