Rosey Deegan

Since she was a toddler, Rosey Deegan ‘12 has wanted to be a brain surgeon. When she enrolled at Washington College last year, it was partly because of the high level of individualized science and math instruction she could receive at the small college, and also partly join her older brother and best friend, Thor Deegan ‘11. While looking for summer internships near her hometown of Greenwich, CT, Rosey learned of a research internship program at Yale University, in New Haven, open to promising students from throughout the country.”I didn’t know if Yale would consider someone from a small liberal arts college in Maryland. The competition for a handful of openings is beyond fierce.”
