Jeanne McCormack

Class of 2007
Major/Minor: Psychology/Sociology

Since Graduation:

While at Washington College, Jeanne majored in Psychology and minored in sociology. She was a member of the Varsity Women’s Rowing team, an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega, Beta Pi Chapter sorority, and was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega honor societies. Since graduating from Washington College in 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology, Jeanne received her M.A. & Ed.S. degrees in School Psychology from Tufts University in Medford, MA. Jeanne worked as a School Psychologist in the North Penn School District in Lansdale, PA for three years until relocating to Maryland where she now is employed as a School Psychologist with Montgomery County Public Schools. Jeanne has remained active with Alpha Chi Omega through participation in alumni chapters in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, serving as membership chair, chapter president, VP finance, and philanthropy chair over the past few years. While living in Pennsylvania Jeanne was rowing at the Whitemarsh Boat Club in Conshohocken, PA, and since moving to DC Jeanne has run four marathons and two Ragnar relays. Jeanne currently lives in Gaithersburg, MD with her husband, Travis McCormack (G’05), their son Patrick, and dog Beau.

Some of Jeanne’s favorite WC memories were on the pristine Chester river at dusk with the crew team, and late nights in Minta Martin with her sorority sisters. She is grateful for how Washington College prepared her for graduate school and for her career, and she is still extremely close with many of her college friends.
