Immediately after graduation Ross moved to Columbus, Ohio where he attended The Ohio State University (OSU). At OSU he studied Higher Education Administration receiving his masters degree in June of 2004. While attending OSU Ross served as a residence hall director at Capital University.
Upon graduation from OSU in 2004 Ross joined the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia as the Administrator of Residence Life and Off Campus Living. In this role Ross provided leadership to residence life staff, managed crisis situations, oversaw campus housing, and developed parents/student partnerships. In the Fall of 2007 he decided to further his education and purse a Juris Doctor at Widener University School of Law while working full time.
In 2009, due to his work within residence life and off campus living Ross was promoted to Assistant Dean of Students. In his role as Assistant Dean of Students Ross managed the student conduct process, provided students with guidance on the University grievance process, coordinated the Student Early Intervention Response Team, and provided leadership within the Division of Student Affairs including the departments of career services and campus recreation.
Ross received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University in May of 2011. In August of 2011 Ross was promoted to Associate Dean of Students at the University of Sciences. In this role he will help coordinate the efforts of several offices within the Division of Student Affairs to ensure holistic student development. These offices include Academic Advising, Career Services, Student Academic Support Services, Student Accommodations, Student Conduct, and the Student Early Intervention Response Team to ensure holistic student development.
