Victor DeSantis

After spending four fabulous years in Chestertown, Victor went on to earn a master’s and Ph.D. from the School of Public Affairs at The American University. 

He currently serves as the Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. As dean, he serves as the chief advocate for the graduate studies program, heads the graduate recruitment and admission processes, and oversees graduate student life and support programs.

His previous experience includes administrative positions at Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts, and faculty positions at Bridgewater State University, University of North Texas; and American University. 

Victor has published over 30 chapters, articles and monographs on public sector issues, and has consulted with and trained nonprofit and local government professionals across the country. 

He credits his excellent professors at WAC for his love of political science and his research and writing skills.  At home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Victor enjoys spending time with his wife, Melanie, and three daughters, Rebecca (currently making her dad proud as a freshman at WAC!), Samantha and Katharine.
