In addition to teaching high school and college students off and on for the last 35 years, Craig Butcher has spent much of his working life earning a living through his writing with careers in politics and broadcasting.

As the host of the most popular radio talk show in Delaware for 12 years, he interviewed TV and movie stars, best-selling authors and major political figures. He has reported the news for the Associated Press, NBC, CBS and CNN and was the Executive Producer of a TV production company.

He worked on Capitol Hill as the Press Secretary for a U.S. Congressman and has written speeches for two governors, several senators and the first President Bush. At present, he teaches Theory of Knowledge and English Honors at Pensacola High School where he has been named Most Influential Teacher of the Year in 2008 and 2011.
