Psychology Alumni Having graduated with a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology, I put my degrees to work to enjoy a long career as a psychiatric social worker. I worked in various medical facilities in both the private and public sectors in Delaware and recently took early retirement from the State. Now, my working part time in my husband’s medical office has afforded me the opportunity to return to the joys of acquiring knowledge at the University of Delaware’s Academy of Life Long Learning in Wilmington. With my husband and two sons, I have lived in the old historic town of New Castle, Delaware for over thirty years. I particularly love biking along the Delaware River and walking on the cobblestone streets of our forefathers. Having been born in Austin, then transplanted to Maryland, and later moving to Delaware. I confess that my heart still belongs to Texas. Once a Texan, always a Texan!
