The English Department at Washington College helped turn me into a High School English Teacher. After graduating with an BA in Literature from WC and then an MA in Literature from American University in 1974, I have taught English in Catholic schools ever since. I retired once, then began again four years ago when we moved to Havre de Grace from Montgomery County when my husband retired. I never thought I’d return to Harford County but we love living in this small town and I’ve had an opportunity to reconnect with people and places. Our three kids are close and we’re only an hour away from Vivien - the grandchild! I’ve also gained a new identity during the summer months. I’m the Scone Lady at the HdG Farmers’ Market; my business is called Brickhouse Bakers.
