Martha Jewett

Marty retired from Carrier Corporation in 1998 after 27 frantic fun-packed years. Having lived and enjoyed the San Francisco Bay Area for 42 years almost equals being a California native.

Volunteer activities include cleaning and preserving St. Peters Chapel, Mare Island (largest Tiffany window collection west of the Mississippi), visitor greeter at Grace Cathedral San Francisco, serving lunches at Supper Center for homeless and Diocesan Altar Guild Corresponding Secretary. Currently celebrating National and Northern California tennis ranking in 70s singles and doubles U.S.T.A. Passionate over golf, hiking, traveling especially to Kauai and seeking out all the San Francisco treasures in the arts, opera, ballet, and theatre. “My home is still run by Nikki, my 18 year old Siamese cat who will help me celebrate my Chinese Year of the Tiger. Life is good on the West Coast.”
